This is a much better product than comes with the Kindle. I love the soft leather and the design. I wanted to be able to read the Kindle with one hand and that is not easily done with covers that open up like a normal book. I love the way you can fold back the cover and that you can stand it up for hands-free reading. The top-flip design is much better than covers that hold the Kindle like a normal book.
One draw back is that you have to partially unclip the Kindle from the cover to access the on and off switch and the wireless switch - I'm not sure why they didn't make holes for those. It's not a big problem but I worry that if I do it too often the Kindle won't sit in there as securely over time. The only thing I like about the original cover better than this one is that there is more padding where the screen comes into contact with the cover. The other draw back is that it looks like if you put an SD card in they might hit the screen while the cover is closed.
All in all this is a great product and I would highly recommend it.

I've used the regular Kindle case and one by M-Edge before I found this one. I prefer this one to either of those.
Pros:
* I like the way it folds open over the top (the soft spine is a feature in this regard - not a bug). The feel of the leather is nice as well and general construction quality is better than the others I've tried.
* The magnetic clasp is great - quicker and easier and as secure as the elastic band on the original or the slide-through clasp on the m-edge. I read a comment somewhere that magnetic clasps could interfere with the whispernet, but I haven't had any issues at all.
* Great access to the on/off and whispernet switches.
* The stand for standing the Kindle up on a table or desk is worth the price of admission for me. When nobody else is around, I read while I eat sometimes and this puts the kindle in the perfect position and makes it easy to turn pages. This probably doesn't matter to some people, but its a really big benefit to me.
I don't have any real cons with this case. Some folks find it slightly less protective than some other cases, but I haven't found this to be a real issue - there's plenty of protection for normal use. Its also theoretically possible for the Kindle to slide out the top when the case is open, but when its open, you're holding it, right? I've never had this happen and can't really see how it would, but I suppose this is a problem for some.

This cover has a few pros and cons:
Pros:
-It's smaller than the original case.
-It's impossible for the Kindle to come loose when the cover is closed.
-The back of the Kindle never pops off.
-The prop stand on back works well, and clips down securely when not in use.
-There's slots for two SD cards on the inside of the front flap.
-All the ports are accessible when the cover is closed, and when the cover is open, access to the switches on back is easy.
-The Kindle is easy to hold and read in this cover.
Cons:
-The sides of the case are open, so the keys on the sides could be damaged if I drop it.
-The Kindle leans a tiny bit to the left when seated in this case.
-The leather it is made out of is very soft. This could be a pro, depending on your tastes.
-The material seems a little flimsy, but the only other case I've used was the Amazon one, which was overly rigid.
The top-flip design is interesting, and I do think I prefer it over covers that look more like books. One thing is for sure, with this cover, no one who sees me with my Kindle will think that I'm reading a normal book in a leather cover.
All-in-all, I'm quite pleased with this purchase. If I were still a student and the Kindle had to survive my backpack, I would have probably jumped for one of the more substantial covers, such as an M-Edge, which would have made it easier to find in a backpack, as well as protected it better. As it is, my Kindle lives in my purse, where it fits snuggly, and has a whole pocket to itself- an M-Edge would not fit, and the Kindle doesn't need the extra protection.

I searched all of the covers available for the Kindle and this is the only one that appeared to do what I needed. When closed and snapped, the Kindle stays securely in the cover. When opened, I can flip the cover back and release the stand (which snaps shut when not in use) to prop the Kindle for hands-free reading.
A cover seems to be essential, because when I don't use one, I find myself accidentally pushing the page turning buttons. The cover that comes with the Kindle works for that purpose, but is still somewhat awkward because it opens like a book. The Kindle also tends to slide around in the provided cover, especially if I need to access the buttons in the back.
The Tuff-Luv cover flips over and out of the way. If I need to turn off the Kindle, I can do so without it slipping around. Just be sure that the Kindle is placed properly in the cover, because the tabs that hold it are pretty tight.
The reason I gave this product four stars instead of five, is the spine seems somewhat flimsy compared to the rest of the cover. I don't think this is going to be a problem, because otherwise, the cover is attractive and well-made.
All-in-all, I'm happy with this product.

This is a pretty good cover, especially if you want one that will stand up while you are eating or whatver. The leather is a very soft feel, and the way it flips over kinda makes more sense than one that opens like a book. The little flap at the bottom right has a magnet snap thing that holds it. When opened, the Kindle stays in place mainly by gravity. In other words, nothing straps it in place, but this is not a problem for me. The cover is lighter and thinner than the one that comes with the Kindle. Overall, especially due to the way it can stand up, I like this cover very much.
