I love this cover. I like that the cover makes my Kindle DX a bit bulkier. For the one day that I was coverless, I was afraid that the DX would slip out of my hands. The cover provides a good amount of protection also. It has a great leather smell that compensates for the lack of "book" smell of the Kindle. My Montblanc pen looks fantastic beside the DX. The only negative that I have is the latch (tab) obstructs the screen if not held back or off to the side. The cover is definitely worth the money for style and protection it offers to my Kindle DX.

This was a gift for my husband for his new Kindle DX. He also has the smaller Kindle with a cover. He found this blue one too bulky so I've returned it and probably will replace it with the standard but plain black cover.
