This product is great for protection of the kindle but when opened it sits at too straight of an angle for reading. You must find a way to tilt it to use it as a reading stand.

I love this thing! I read a review saying the synthetic cover is not as slippery as genuine leather, so I ordered this version. Being a big fan of leaving my reading material standing so I can read hands free, I find this cover totally fills my needs. And as for the tab covering the keyboard and part of the screen, I believe the tab is intended to be tucked between the front and back covers when fully opened. I find the kindle easier to hold in the cover, and I no longer need worry about scratching or denting the screen when it is in my bag. I would highly recommend this product.

It's a nice cover, but the tab to close the cover floats over the screen and navigation buttons when it's open. You have to remove the Kindle 2 to read without distractions which makes the cover pretty useless. I'm returning it and ordering one without the tab.
