My wife loves this cover, the color is great. The cover provides good protection for your kindle. Be aware if you get your kindle first and then order the cover later, it will make your kindle feel heavy. I just got this today and am thrilled!! The quality is much better than expected, the photos don't do it justice. My Kindle is firmly held in the case and very well protected. It is easily folded back so it doesn't hinder my reading experience any. In my opinion this is a PERFECT basic cover that looks posh despite it's simplicity.

I am very happy with this kindle cover. I've had it for about 2 months now - it is attractive, and does a good job protecting my kindle. It holds the kindle securely, and I like the way it feels in my hands... very much like holding a large paperback. Without the cover, the kindle seemed too slippery, like it could be easily dropped. I received my case a few days ago, wanted to try it for a few days before reporting in though. VERY NICE!! The leather is a fine quality and the fit is quite nice as well. While it does add bulk, it isn't so much as to be annoying. I got my cover a couple of days ago and I must say I love it. It is very nice and sturdy. My kindle is secure in this cover with the metal hooks on the side that secure the kindle into place and I also like the two loops that secure the kindle in the outer corners . I like this cover very much and I agree with other reviewers that, with the addition of the two corner pieces, it is much sturdier than the black Amazon cover. My problem is the color of the cover and that of the inside. Someone who is going to want a purple cover is going to want a vibrant purple and not the subdued-purple-grey the cover actually is. I have used this cover on my Kindle 2 for months now. It's really a great cover. First, the Kindle locks into place so their is no worry about it falling out. The Kindle 2 is easier to hold in this cover (especially if your reading in bed). The product is clearly well constructed, the red color is a lovely shade and the leather-like texture is very nice. I purchased the hinged version of the M-edge. It is well constructed and made from good quality leather (it even has a rich leather smell). It is secured by two metal clips and two straps, so the Kindle is unlikely to fall out accidentally. The color is a bit loud, but that will make it easier to find when I misplace it. The M-edge is an excellent accessory for a wonderful product.

I hadn't cosidered that a book cover should function like a book not like a stand. So I do not like the way this jacket opens and fold at the top and perfer a side fold version. The color and the leather did meet expectation but function was not pleasing.

Very happy with this cover for my Kindle. It has a nice quality appearance and protects the Kindle. The hinge and the corner straps holds the Kindle very securely. I feel comfortable taking my Kindle on the go in this case. This design (with corner straps) is better than the hinge-only ones, because it secures the Kindle to the back of the cover. On the hinge-only generic Amazon cover I bought originally, the Kindle can flop around (though it still seems safe).

I just purchased this cover for my new Kindle 2 and I am very pleased. I previously owned a Kindle 1 and had an Oberon cover for it which I loved. Unfortunately the Kindle 1 met with disaster and I decided to go for the K2 which meant that I would need to by a new cover. I bought this for my mother, she loves it. It fits very snugly and there will be no problem with the kindle coming out. It is a high quality cover too, it is made well and looks amazing.

It is great and I think every Kindle should have something like this, and this is the best quality/best looking one.

The leather, stitching and hinges are all of very high quality. It's soft and pleasant to hold as well. It's a bit thicker than the standard Amazon case, but I much prefer the more organic feel of this leather jacket.
