I bought the Mighty Bright clip-on light for use with my Kindle I and it works quite well as a supplemental light for that purpose. However, this thing, at least in my experience, *eats* batteries. Perhaps it's just that I read quite a bit, but I'm doing well to get a set of batteries to last a week (even the fancy *very* expensive lithium-ion.) For that reason I would not buy another nor can I recommend it to friends and thus I give it only three stars.

I thought I'd like this light based on all the positive reviews. I must have received a bad on. Took it out of the box, inserted batteries, and it didn't work. Fortunately, customer service is excellent and I'm able to return it for a full refund, postage paid by Amazon.

This is my second Mighty Bright, I got my first when I bought my first Kindle 2 and when I ordered a second Kindle 2 for my wife I order the light with it. It is perfect and reliable!

I was skeptical buying this prodct at first because of some negative comments that I ve read. But I did give a try anyway.

I tried it and it was great! very handy and the illumination covers the whole book. With this price and performance I give it 5 star!

This little thing packs a rather bright light. It clips onto anything from your paper book to the cover of your Kindle or just to the Kindle itself. It has two different brightness models and the lower one is usually bright enough in the dark.

The light is VERY flexible and will stay in any position you want. To avoid the glare on a kindle screen, just move the light a bit up or to the side, it'll still provide plenty of light but will not bother your eyes.
