I absolutely love this cover. I got the kindle 2 for a gift & was terrified of breaking it before I could get a cover. I am very glad I read the reviews & got a cover with a hinge. It makes it extra secure. Love the color & quality of the leather. It smelled a little strange only for a day or so. I can still put my kindle in my purse & carry it around. I like the cover too because I can hold my kindle like a regular book now.

I sent a "shocked, SHOCKED" message to the M-edge Customer Service department c/o amazon.com when I got the "estimated delivery date" for the gorgeous, self-indulgent (yet very necessary) leather protective cover I had ordered. I thought it was in stock and assumed (!) immediate shipment, but the estimated shipment and delivery dates were several days after my departure on the extended trip for which I had also just bought my Kindle 2.
