One star only because I received the wrong item. The jacket I received did not have the hinge system as described and pictured. Instead there were four corner straps. Returning for refund and will order another.

I bought this cover right after receiving my Kindle 2 for a birthday gift. I am so glad I did. I love the locking device that keeps my K2 secure. I know some do not like the tab that secures the cover because it gets in the way but I just tuck mine behind my K2 when I read it in its cover. When I am reading in bed, or any other location where I feel my K2 is safe, I take it out of its cover. The Kindle is lighter and easier to hold out of the cover but the main reason I bought it was to protect ......
I love my new M-edge Kindle Jacket. It is real leather and bright red. It protects my investment and can be used as an easel for hands free reading.

I was really looking forward to getting this item. First, it took longer than most Amazon items take to be delivered. Then- and most importantly- it is way too small for the Kindle 2! The Kindle is about 1/4 of an inch longer than the case so there is no way it will fit. I gave it a star because apparently I can't give it less in order to write the review! A real shame, for I really wanted this to work.
