I have used this cover on my Kindle 2 for months now. It's really a great cover. First, the Kindle locks into place so their is no worry about it falling out. The Kindle 2 is easier to hold in this cover (especially if your reading in bed). The product is clearly well constructed, the red color is a lovely shade and the leather-like texture is very nice. I purchased the hinged version of the M-edge. It is well constructed and made from good quality leather (it even has a rich leather smell). It is secured by two metal clips and two straps, so the Kindle is unlikely to fall out accidentally. The color is a bit loud, but that will make it easier to find when I misplace it. The M-edge is an excellent accessory for a wonderful product.

I hadn't cosidered that a book cover should function like a book not like a stand. So I do not like the way this jacket opens and fold at the top and perfer a side fold version. The color and the leather did meet expectation but function was not pleasing.
