Your Kindle transcended your every expectation, but the cover it came with could cause some serious civil disobedience. The generic black case and distracting rubber band closure undermined the simple beauty of the Kindle itself. And why should your cover be the same as everyone else's. March to the beat of your own drummer. The Thoreau cover is the perfect for the reader who wants to read deliberately and keep the Kindle safe without any befuddling complications.

 "Thoreau Kindle 2 cover" 2009-04-08
By Paul R. Niemi (New York City)
I received this cover today, {ASIN:B0021KDKE0 Thoreau Cover for Kindle 2: Chocolate Brown Leather]] and it is not at all like the one pictured. The retention is by elastic straps in the corners that are too small to hold the Kindle 2. I E-Mailed Bobarra and they said the pictures are for the Kindle 1 version. The quality of the leather is not great either, this is a cheap, cost saving substitute. It's on its way back.

"Question: Will this cover fit the Kindle 2?" 2009-02-12
By Gregory L. Stilson (Canyon Country, CA USA)
I am purchasing the Kindle 2, but wanted to know if this cover fits the Kindle 2?
