The only drawback to this case for the Kindle is that you have to completely remove the Kindle to charge the battery or connect the USB cable. The way it holds the Kindle at an easily adjustable angle for reading is really great. I use it in bed and when I dine out alone (I work out of town a lot) I can read without having to hold the Kindle. Overall I highly recommend this case.

The portfolio case has a neat feature in that you can use as a stand. It is also nice that the keyboard is covered but easily can be used through the plastic covering.
It is difficult to insert Kindle into the cover far enough to see and operate the numeral keys on the keypad.
Kindle will easily fall out if the case is tipped forward or upside down as there is nothing to hold it in on the top.

Aside from the disadvantages already mentioned on this cover, there is one more that wasn't mentioned. After a few weeks of using this cover, the black suede on the inside of the cover rubbed against my kindle and stained the kindle in various places. I pride myself on keeping my kindle very clean and now it has black stains across the front.
I bought this because I like to take notes while I am reading and having the notebook and pen available made this very pleasing to me.
But i think I will end up selling this cover and going back to my old original cover (at least until I find a different cover I like better)

I really like this Kindle cover. It's a little bigger than the cover that comes with your Kindle, but you don't have to have velcro on the Kindle to keep it in place. Also, the stand is very convenient for reading at a table and it is easier to reach the buttons on the back of the Kindle. It is also more padded than the original cover offering more protection. The only improvement would be for the manufacturer to put a hole at the bottom of the holder so you could charge the battery without having to remove the Kindle from the holder (that's the only reason why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5).

What can I say? Great idea, but not for left-handers. It would be next to impossible to use the notebook.
