i was exctied when my case came. i got the red one i like it. it has a professional look about it and does exactly what its suppose to do. yeah it has a slight odor (which does not skink by the way) but DUH its leather. the stand works too but not perfectly, you have to tinker with it a bit. i use my Kindle 2 a lot and this actually makes it better and easier to hold. i dont have to place my hands so carefully so as not to accidently turn a page or something, thats SO annoying. also i have a 16 ......

I am very pleased with this cover I bought for my Kindle 2. I was torn between the pink (my favorite color) and the lime green. I finally decided to go with pink but now wish I had the green. The colors shown on screen are not as bright when you receive them. I had to look twice thinking I was shipped a red cover by mistake. Other than that I have been extremely pleased... Now I am waiting to buy the MEdge light that is being released this month.

The color is good, the leather is very nice, the lining is spiffy, but I just don't feel it protects my expensive Kindle well. The Kindle is just not held securely enough -- the top elastic holders tend to slip off & allow the Kindle to pop out. I can't tell you the number of times I've reached into my purse & pull it out only to find that the Kindle itself has "escaped" from the cover, sliding out of the top because those little corner tabs came loose. I'm also not wild about the out......
