I bought this jacket by mistake and decided to try it before I returned it. I must admit I ended up loving it. I can prop it up to read instead of holding it which is great when I'm sitting at the table or desk. And, it is just as easy to hold in your hands. Love it!

I ordered this jacket for my Kindle back in March, with the 3 weeks to delivery time it arrived in April. It is now June 6th and the elastic that holds the Kindle in place has stretched and has separated from the stitching. Now to me that seems like a pretty short life span for an item costing $40.00 with such a long delivery time. If you are looking for a jacket cover for you Kindle you may want to stick with the items that Kindle makes and not purchase through a 3rd party.

Huge fan of the platform jacket. The purple is beautiful, the leather is nice, and the platform design is genius. I love propping the jacket on a lapdesk or simply on my lap for an easy, hands-free reading experience. If I have a complaint, it's only that the strap of leather used to keep the jacket closed has become soft in use and is a little more difficult to use now, but it still works well. Very happy with this purchase.
