At first, I was unhappy with the way this case folds back to make a book stand, but if you bend and stretch the cover back and forth a bit, it actually forms the *perfect* angle for reading when in stand form. When you first open it, the leather is stiff and holds the book at a really bad angle. If you look at the picture, it shows how the "hinge" part should look when at the right angle, and it takes some amount of bending to get that way. So, with that problem solved, I am now able to give this case a 5 star rating. Leather is nice, smells great, looks great, doesn't get in the way of reading or charging, holds Kindle very steady and secure, and provides a good amount of protection from dropping, screen scratches (when closed obviously) and things like rain.

I waited with anticipation to recieve this jacket as they were backordered or delayed. I ordered this one (mocha leather platform) and also the pebbled black of the "book style". After checking them both out I chose this one and sent the book style back. It was also nice, I just preferred this one because I found it easier to hold and it has the ability to stand up on its own. The leather is nice and smells great. The kindle 2 fit into it easily and seems to be pretty secure. I find it easy to hold while reading and the stand works great if the surface is the right height. Overall, I think it is a high quality jacket for the kindle 2 and I would definately recommend it.
I will say that the pebbled black unit did not smell as nice as this one. I guess they have to use more chemical to make it black.

I've been using this cover for my Kindle 2 for a few weeks now and I love it. It's a high quality, well put together product. The leather looks and feels good and the Kindle 2 fits in perfectly. I have no fear that it will fall out accidentally. It feels solid in my hand and has a nice space on the left side that allows for a good comfortable grip when reading. The top flips over and it acts as a stand that allows hands free reading.
My only question is when does the special light for this case get released? I wasn't able to find it when I looked and the usual light that people buy doesn't fit in the case properly.

This is a beatiful cover, but I'm a bit disappointed in the way it folds back to make a book stand. Maybe I need to work the leather a bit, but the angle at which it holds the Kindle is not quite right. It was quite expensive and took a long time to get to me.

I FINALLY received my M-edge cover yesterday. This is a very nice, quality cover. The leather seems to be of good quality, and the color is pretty much as I expected. It fits my Kindle 2 perfectly, and it seems thick enough to really protect my Kindle. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a bit heavy. I don't know how they would have made it lighter and still made it of good quality leather, but I wish it were a little lighter. I weighed the cover with the Kindle 2 in it, and it weighs about 1 lb 5 oz, which was very close to the weight of a similarly-sized hard cover book.
