I had the original M-Edge cover and it worked very well. It held my Kindle very securely as it provides maximum coverage and protection from everyday use. I like the textured look and feel of the cover. The executive styling adds a professional look to the Kindle. I did not have too much of a problem with the color staining my Kindle as I got the newest style. The pockets provided are a very good place to store extra memory cards and business cards. Too bad it is hard to find a notepad that can fit without extending too far out of the cover. The pen loop is a good touch. The bookcover lays flat while I'm reading and folds back out of the way when I need more room. The loops keep my Kindle securely in place. So secure in fact, that it takes some work to remove it from the cover. This helps out a lot, especially in keeping me from pushing the next and previous buttons by accident. Everything is good with it except that in order to access the power and wireless buttons, I have to lift the Kindle out by the corner to access the switches. Thankfully, the corner loop is elastic and can be moved very easily. I recently purchased the improved M-Edge cover that compatible with the e-Luminator booklight. I really love the light! It has greatly improved the use of my Kindle. It folds neatly along the "spine" of the cover when not in use and it really doesn't add too much bulk to the Kindle. The only problem I am experiencing is: the pen loop is really close to the booklight and when I place a pen in the pen holder, it gets in the way of the previous and next page buttons, making them difficult to access. Maybe using a thinner pen may help. This issue is really minor. But all in all, it's a great product, I love it and wold recommend it to all Kindle users out there!

I originally bought one of these when I got my Kindle, and it was great. So, I thought the revised one would be better--NOT. The tabs are WAY TOO TIGHT to hold the Kindle without pushing the page buttons on the Kindle. When you put the e-Luminator light in, the problem only gets worse. Don't even bother with this one!! Forget customer service, there is none.

The negative feedback seems to be spot on. I should have paid more attention. The lower right hand corner strap is much smaller than the two on the left side. As a result, I am not able to fit the Kindle in the case, which may be that mine is defective. I will be returning this promptly. The original is a better product.

This is a GREAT PRODUCT!!! My Kindle fits perfectly in this case while being able to use all of the functions of the Kindle, keyboard, all of the buttons, etc. This is the case that Amazon should be providing with the Kindle instead of the piece of garbage that comes with the Kindle!!

My review concerns more the quality of delivery of the product than the product itself. I paid for next day delivery. The POST OFFICE tried to deliver it two days after it was shipped, but I was out. Of course the seller had in their wisdom decided that I needed to sign for the product. Having bought through Amazon for years I've never required a signature for delivery.
So, when I went to the post office to pick up my package, they couldn't find it.
In sum, I can't really say what the product is like because of the terrible delivery service. I am stopping payment and will probably never see the product.
