It's actually a purply-grey. Like if you have a purple t-shirt and wash it too many times. Washed-out purple. I'm a little disappointed in the color.



The function of the jacket is fine, though. I'm gonna keep it because I don't see any alternatives I particularly like and I feel my Kindle is protected in this jacket. I take it out of the jacket to use at home. The stand-up feature is nice - but I usually read in bed so don't use it much.



UPDATE a few weeks later... Turns out I DO use use the platform feature. And it's also a great jacket for reading in bed because it raises the Kindle a half-inch off the bed to right in front of your eyes. It has grown on me and now I'm very happy with it.
