I have read many complaints that the Kindle DX is quite heavy. I find this durable, well-made cover to be a great help with this. When I am sitting, I can have the cover of this jacket either perpendicular or angled and resting on my knee. This makes the Kindle almost weightless. I really like that it will stand on a counter or table, too.
I am anxiously waiting for the M-Edge booklight that fits this cover seamlessly. I have a couple of very nice booklights but they aren't convenient to carry. According to their website, M-Edge has one in the works that fits right in the cover.
